An iron meteorite of 37.5lb was found 1952 during road building. The finder took a small segment to a chemist who sent it to H.H.Nininger who confirmed it to be a meteorite. The main mass was later sold by the finder to the Institute of Meteoritics, in Albuquerque, New Mexico
